What Do we Do?

We specialize in assessing levels of electromagnetic exposure in everyday environments such as homes, offices and factories.

UK Government guidelines conform to ICNIRP — The International Commission on Non Ionizing Radiation Protection standards and are based solely on heating effects.

But some people are made seriously unwell by electromagnetic exposures at even small fractions of ICNIRP safety levels.

The current standards are increasingly acknowledged as inadequate to protect people who are Electro-Sensitive (ES) or who have gone on to develop more severe and debilitating Electromagnetic HyperSensitivity (EHS).

The mechanisms behind these biological effects remain unclear and the subject of intense debate. Nevertheless, Electric Forester’s investigators use sensitive instruments to help advise clients on cost-effective ways in which they can minimize their electromagnetic exposure.

Well informed house buyers and lenders are now considering the long-term effects on health and property values of such everyday environmental factors as mobile phone masts, proximity to pylons and high voltage cables.

Typically, an on-site investigation takes half a day and a detailed yet easy to read report is normally produced within 10 working days. If time is critical, interim survey findings can be provided by e-mail within a day or so of the site visit.

Electric Forester reports are private and confidential. We will not normally confirm or deny the existence of an investigation unless instructed to do so by our clients.

Who Are We and Why Are We Here?

Electric Forester exists to help clients who want to minimize electromagnetic exposure as recommended by the official UK Health Protection Agency—HPA in their advice to adopt a precautionary approach.

Electric Forester was started in 2006 by Roger Moller BSc.Ind.Eng. to provide independent advice on managing domestic and commercial exposure to Electrosmog. Electric Forester Investigations Limited was formed early in 2007.

We are one of only a few independent UK providers of electromagnetic surveys working at the low levels of exposure known to adversely affect people who are electro-sensitive—ES or who, as a result are disabled by electromagnetic hypersensitivity—EHS.
